Thats the Porter Trailers / Derg Valley Vintage Club annual tractor run and auction over for another year, and what a day it was, the biggest one yet, 112 tractors taking part ranging from 80 years old to almost new. the weather was beautiful and great scenery overlooking the Derg Valley and Finn Valley in Donegal

Many thanks to all who brought tractors, some travelled quite a distance, all who called to see the tractors and gave donations, all who donated items to the Auction and all who bought them.
Thanks to Peter Smith for doing the auction and Stephen Allen for allowing us to park at his farm for the half way/ ice cream stop.
Thanks to K Burgers and Mr Whippy for providing the food and ice cream which, by the look of it everyone enjoyed.

the amount raised will be announced later and donated to Young Lives vs Cancer, a very worthwhile charity that has been helping the Russell family from Ardstraw in providing support and accommodation near hospitals as their 17 year old son Aaron is being treated for Leukemia

Money raised form this tractor run will be donated to Young Lives VS Cancer at the request of the Russell family from Ardstraw a charity that has and is being a great help to them in providing accommodation near hospitals and support as 17 year old Aaron is being treated for Leukemia, we wish them all the best for the future.

Some goods have been donated for the auction at 11am and if anyone wants to donate please get in touch.

Anyone can come to view the tractors before they leave at 11.30 on Saturday morning or watch them along the way.
