I had a client come in this week after a previous lash lift elsewhere didn’t quite work for her..

She has hooded eyes, and her last lift caused her lashes to curl back into her eyelids - leading to irritation and an uncomfortable result.

This is exactly why lash lifts are never “one size fits all” 🤍

The shield used plays a huge role in how your lashes lift, sit, and grow out. With hooded eyes especially, the wrong shield can cause the lashes to lift too tightly or in the wrong direction - instead of lifting them out and upwards where they should be.

For this client, I carefully adjusted the shield choice and placement to suit her eye shape, so her lashes lift away from the lid and open up her eyes without any discomfort.

Hooded eyes don’t mean you can’t have a lash lift - it just means the technique has to be tailored properly.

And this is why results can vary so much between techs… it’s never just “a lash lift”, it’s understanding your eyes.

There are SO many brow myths online that stop people from booking treatments that could genuinely make them feel more confident ✨

So let’s clear a few things up…

☁️Brow lamination does NOT automatically mean crispy, overdone brows. When done properly, laminations can look soft, fluffy, natural & low maintenance.

☁️ Tint/stain doesn’t have to mean blocky or too dark either - every colour and finish should be customised to suit your features, natural colouring & personal preference.

And one of the biggest myths I hear?

☁️ “My brows are too uneven to fix.”

Naturally, nobody’s brows are perfectly symmetrical - which is exactly why I carefully map every set of brows before starting. Brow mapping helps me create the best possible balance and shape to suit YOUR face 😍

Sometimes the right brow treatment completely changes how someone feels about themselves… and they’ve usually spent years thinking their brows “couldn’t be fixed”.
