THE NO BAD DADS CLUB.

I’ve been sitting on this idea for a while… and I’m not putting a date on it just yet because I want to make sure we do it properly.

A club for all dads, of all ages. New dads, divorcing, dads, single dads, grandads, expecting dads, stepdads… anyone.

You don’t need to be a No Bad Days customer. You don’t need to know anyone. And you definitely don’t need to be struggling.

Maybe you’re lonely. Maybe you need to vent. Maybe you want some advice. Or maybe you just fancy meeting some like-minded dads.

Dad-to-dad learning. Advice. Knowledge sharing. Friendship.

The first one will be in the shop. Music on, snacks and drinks, good people and a relaxed space to just be yourself.

The club will be shaped with guidance from qualified mental health professionals, and we’ll bring in mental health-related guest speakers and people with real knowledge and experience along the way.

And I want you lot to help shape it too 👇

What would you actually like to learn or talk about?

Changing sh*tty nappies? Bedtime routines? Mental health advice for dads? Doing your daughter’s hair? Styling your boy’s hair? Relationships? Co-parenting? Dad guilt?

Literally anything.

Drop it below and I’ll get some good people and useful resources ready for us all.

No stupid questions. No pressure. Just dads helping dads. 🤝

Tag a dad you think would love this… 👇

THE NO BAD DADS CLUB.

Coming soon.

To the dads.

The step-dads.
The foster dads.
The adoptive dads.
The grandads stepping up.
The father figures.
The same-sex dads.
The soon to be dads.
The men showing up every day for a child, whether they’re related by blood or not.

We see you.

We see the early mornings, the late nights, the worrying, the providing, the teaching, the protecting, the sacrifices nobody notices and the love that often goes unspoken.

Being a dad isn’t about DNA.
It’s about showing up.
It’s about consistency.
It’s about being the safe place, the role model, the shoulder to lean on and the hand to hold.

The next generation will be kinder, stronger and more compassionate because of the example you’re setting today.

And while the world doesn’t always say it enough, we appreciate you.

Being a father, in all its forms, is one of the most important jobs in the world.

Keep going.
They’re watching.
They’re learning.
And one day they’ll realise just how much you did for them.

Happy Father’s Day to every man helping raise a child.

The world is better because of you. ❤️

✂️ WE’RE LOOKING FOR A BARBER ✂️

This could be for you, or it could be for somebody you know.

I wanted to explain a bit more about the opportunity, so if you’re even slightly interested, give it a watch.

At No Bad Days, I’m not necessarily looking for the barber with the biggest following, the most experience, or a full client list. I’m looking for the right person.

Honestly, I don’t really care whether you’ve been barbering for six months or 30 years.

You might be cutting from your shed at home. You might be fresh out of college. You might be halfway through an apprenticeship. You might have been in a shop for a couple of years and be looking for a change. Or you might have decades of experience behind the chair.

What matters to me is attitude, personality, willingness to learn, and wanting to be part of a team that’s all trying to move forward together.

We’re a fully booked, full-capacity shop based in Upnor with a great team, no egos, and a genuine focus on helping each other grow.

What we offer:

✂️ Flexible working hours
✂️ Strong earning potential (£800–£1,300+ per week)
✂️ A busy, established shop
✂️ Ongoing support and development
✂️ Opportunities to get involved with the No Bad Days Project CIC and paid community work
✂️ A team that genuinely wants to see each other succeed

This isn’t about finding the “perfect” barber. It’s about finding somebody who wants to grow with us and be part of what we’re building.

So if you’ve ever thought about working at No Bad Days, or you know somebody who would fit in here, don’t let this opportunity pass you by.

Drop me a message, send over your CV, or simply pop into the shop for a coffee and a chat. No pressure, no formal interview, just a conversation.

📍 No Bad Days, Upnor, Kent

Please give this a share. The right person might not be looking for a job today, but they might see this through somebody they know.

We’ve got space for one more barber at No Bad Days.

This isn’t high‑street, walk‑in, “next”.
It’s calmer, appointment‑based, and people come here for the space as much as the cut.

If you’re looking for a place that feels more human, have a watch.

If it’s you, hit the link and apply.
If this could be the perfect opportunity for someone you know. Send this to them ❤️

Big moment for the shop and a proud one for Luke too 🙌

A little while back, we were asked to be involved in a project with Melanoma Focus to help raise awareness around skin cancer within barbering. As barbers, we spend hours every day looking closely at our clients’ scalps, necks, faces and skin — sometimes spotting things people haven’t noticed themselves.

The finished book has now been released, and Luke was actually featured inside it as one of the faces of the campaign, which is pretty cool and something we’re all proud of here at No Bad Days.

This isn’t about trying to be doctors — it’s about awareness, conversations, and encouraging people to get things checked if something doesn’t look or feel right.

A haircut can be more than just a haircut sometimes.

Massive thanks to the team at Melanoma Focus for involving us in something genuinely important 🖤

If you notice a mole or mark changing shape, colour, size, itching or bleeding — get it checked.
