I haven’t posted on here for a while! Hope everyone is ok!

As many of you know I have recently opened a hairdressing salon with a very good friend of mine!😊❤️

You may remember I posted a while ago about delaying price adjustments initially as we thought it would be unfair to put our prices up straight away for our regular mobile customers, and so for the last one or two visits prices have not changed too much.

We have now been open for 3 months so I’m afraid prices will have to increase slightly going forward.
We have a salon price list which new customers to the salon have been using and we need to bring our mobile prices more in line with this over the next few weeks.

Now that we have the salon our expenses have increased massively and in order to keep the salon open price adjustments are unavoidable I’m afraid.
We do hope you will understand and we will happily answer any questions about this.

We have researched salon prices locally and you will find that our prices are very similar to the salons around us.

I won’t know exactly the differences until I have worked things out individually, but there will be increases somewhere between £5-£10 on the majority of services (the latter being some but not all colour services)
Some services you may not even have a difference in what you currently pay, and some services you may see a slight difference.
If you have already paid the new prices recently you won’t notice anymore differences on your next visit to us so don’t worry.

Again we really hope you understand this, and also hope that you have enjoyed having the salon experience and feel that any increases are worth it! xx

Good morning all!
Just popping some info up on here as I’ve had lots of you (understandably!) ask questions about prices once the salon opens.
I completely understand your concerns, and hope that this post may help with any worries.

Initially we are not planning to suddenly increase prices straight away as we think that would be rather unfair.
Although, as you can understand we will have many more costs involved with running a salon then we do working mobile, so it is likely that there will be some price adjustments in the future.

We will however give everyone plenty of notice about this.
It may be a case of a couple of smaller increases over the next few months rather then one big one straight away.
We feel that this will be the gentlest way to do this, so it’s not a shock for anyone.

And of course we will be in position soon to offer a gorgeous salon experience for everyone having their hair done! (no more over bath/sink hair washes!) and hope that this will make any future price adjustments feel totally worth it! 🥰💆🏼‍♀️💇🏼‍♀️💇🏻‍♀️💇🏻‍♂️…
We also have lots of promotional ideas that will benefit everyone!
We are planning to introduce new loyalty cards with money off and also freebies!
Just collect a card once we are open and get your stamps collected at every visit! 👍

The main salon is looking so much lighter and brighter! 😍😃
We’ve chosen the new flooring now and just waiting for the new shop front sign design and quote to be sent through 👍😄… So much else still to do though, and lots of other more complicated stuff going on at the moment as well 🤯😂
BUT the salon is now officially registered as Hair Hub 288!! 🙌😄❤️

Following on from my last post!

Any appointments booked between now and the next 3 weeks will go ahead as normal...

I will be in touch with everyone about their next appointments so please don’t worry, I’ll make sure you know what’s going on 😘
From the end of March onwards I will be based at our new salon so appointments will be carried out there going forward, and any bookings already made will be transferred over to our salon diary if you are happy for me to do so!

There’s been lots going on recently and it’s all happened very quickly, but honestly this is too good of an opportunity to turn down!

There’s lots to do and a lot of updating to do but we hope to be open as soon as possible!

Gemma and I have been friends for 22 years and we worked together in salons for 12 years and if I was going open a salon with anyone it would be her!
And here we are! 🙌🥰❤️
