Before the retinol police come knocking… 😂

I’m not anti-retinol. It’s a brilliant, well-researched ingredient and I recommend it when it’s right for the individual.

I’m just not convinced that every ageing skin automatically needs it.

For my own skin, I prefer a combination of vitamin C + bakuchiol, alongside good barrier support and daily SPF. I love the antioxidant approach and, importantly for me, my skin tolerates it beautifully.

Because skincare isn’t about using the strongest ingredients possible — it’s about finding the right ingredients for YOUR skin and something you’ll actually use consistently.

So… retinol lovers, we can still be friends. 😉
