I said NO to 2 microneedling clients this week.
Not because microneedling isn’t an amazing treatment — but because their skin wasn’t ready for it.
One client was experiencing new breakouts during a period of stress, and the other arrived with a dry, irritated and compromised skin barrier.
In both cases, we changed the plan.
Because skin treatments shouldn’t be about ticking a treatment off your booking. They should be about what your skin actually needs on the day you see me.
Sometimes that means microneedling.
Sometimes it means going back to basics, calming the skin and repairing the barrier first.
Your skin comes first. Always.
