News update for Nail Tech's! 💅💭

The European Union has introduced an important regulatory change affecting nail products that may impact suppliers, services, and product choices across the industry. As of September 1st 2025, the EU has banned the use of Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO) in cosmetic products, including gel and UV nail systems ✨

The UK is following a slightly altered timeline:
15th August 2026: Deadline for placing TPO-containing products on the market
14th February 2027: Deadline for removing products from shelves
This means there is currently a transition period in Great Britain, but alignment with EU rules is underway.
