Meet the neighbours again, today. The stylish The Block Hairdressing salon is just one road away from me, on Bath Street. I met Joni and introduced myself to explain my Introductory Offer. The first 15 chic clients can get new Permanent , or for half price by signing up as my models.

It was great to meet my neighbours at Harani Hair today, and introduce myself and my business. Harani is a lovely independent salon with a brilliant selection of products for customers to take home with them. I'm so thrilled to share this with you – yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous lady. Let me introduce you to Louise, who dropped by for her very first Brows consultation. She was fed up with the way her brows decided to fade and stop growing over recent years. Now she's putting her foot down and saying, "Enough is enough!"

Louise had firm ideas about her ideal brow style: not ultra-defined, angular brows, just a gentle touch to enhance her own natural brow style. And guess where she ended up after checking out various salons in the area? Right here with me. Want to know why? Because she felt, "This person's really going to listen to what I have in mind."

We had a chat about her fast-paced lifestyle as a nurse, superhero mum to three grown-up children, and even a dog mum to a bunch of energetic pets. Then I took out my trusty pencil and sketched a fresh shape on her right brow that made Louise feel on top of the world. She's all set for her next appointment, when we'll turn that sketch into reality.

Louise's reaction reminded me once again how rewarding it is to make people feel like the best version of themselves. Here's to embracing our own natural beauty and giving it a little boost.
