Hey lovelies!
I hope you are all staying safe and well.
As you all know there has been a lot of changes recently and unfortunately the beauty side of things has had a massive hit. So I wanted to write you all a message of what to expect for when I am back safely working.
I have spent hours researching and looking into how I can re open and make it as safe as possible for you and me.

Firstly, when you arrive you will be coming through the back gate instead of the front door and into the beauty room through the back doors. You can text or call me when you arrive to let me know however the back gate will be unlocked if you want to come through and knock on the back door and I will open it for you. The doors and handles will be cleaned before you arrive and after you leave.

When you arrive I will require you to wash your hands straight away at the new cleaning station set up. You will be given a nail brush to clean under your nails and you will need to wash them for at least 20 seconds. There will be paper towels for you to dry your hands and dispose of in a lined bin and a used nail brush box for you to put the nail brush in when finished using ready to be cleaned.

You will need to wear a mask at your appointment, you can bring one with you or you can purchase one from me when you are here. I will be wearing the correct PPE to keep you safe, a medically certified face mask, a visor, gloves and an apron.

I will contact you between 24-48 hours before your appointment to see how you are feeling and go through some COVID questions with you.

When you arrive and are seated I will go through a client record card and forms with you and I will need you to sign a disclaimer and confirm you are happy with everything we have discussed. These forms will be put away in a locked cabinet and I will be the only one to have access to it. This will mean I am abiding by data protection rules by keeping your information completely private.

I will guide you with picking a colour as you won’t be able to touch any of the colour sticks or nail art pots.

Pedicures will be slightly different too, you will need to put your shoes onto couch paper on the floor and then will be required to soak them for 5 minutes in foot sanitiser before I am able to carry out the treatment.

I won’t be able to offer any drinks so if you would like one please bring your own coffee or bottled water etc and take it away with you.

Unfortunately there will be no use of toilet facilities unless it is a complete emergency as that means walking through the house and more areas that can be touched meaning I wouldn’t be able to open for you all if I was to keep the toilet facilities open.

No mobile phones once you have washed your hands unless it is an emergency.

Please try and keep personal belongings to a minimum by leaving your coat in the car etc. When you arrive there will be a lined box for you to put your handbag and phone in until your appointment is finished.

No +1s to come with you to your appointment, only clients that are having treatments can be in the room. The more people the more chance of infection.

The beauty room does look slightly different as there are no blankets, rugs etc now as everything needs to be sterile but I have tried to keep it as warm and homely as possible.

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment I will have to re arrange your appointment to another time as I can not have any cross over of clients and will need the time in between to make sure everything has been cleaned thoroughly.

I miss you all and I wanted you all to know I am taking this seriously and all of your health. I will try and make your appointments as lovely as I can and I can’t wait to start seeing you all. I’m hoping this won’t be forever but for the time being it will be our normal.
