CLINICAL YOGA is a small-group, clinically informed class designed to support recovery, restore movement, and optimise overall wellbeing. Each session combines controlled, low-load movement, breathwork, and guided down-regulation techniques to support both the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. The class is carefully structured to be adaptable, making it appropriate for those managing pain, recovering from injury, or seeking a more considered return to movement.
The approach is intentionally fundamentals-focused, with an emphasis on building strong, reliable foundations that translate into daily life, independent yoga practice, and conventional gym training.
By supporting a well-regulated nervous system alongside physical capacity, Clinical Yoga aims to help clients move with greater ease, build resilience, and maintain a more balanced and sustainable state of health. ❤️
Some gentle spinal mobs to kick start any good treatment. ❤️
Chiropractic care is all about activating and resetting the nervous system. Chiropractic adjustments are a direct intervention into the nervous system. Joints are packed with nerve receptors that constantly send information to the brain about how your body is moving and functioning. When joints become restricted or irritated, that signal can become a little “noisy.” An adjustment restores movement and gives the nervous system new, clearer information to work with. ❤️
One thing I love about our Chester clinic is the cosy vibe 🤍
My aim with chiropractic care is to target the areas causing pain and reduce your symptoms. We do this with adjustments, soft tissue work, acupuncture, dry needling… the list goes on.
I get plenty of first-time chiropractic patients coming into my clinic room not really knowing what to expect — which is completely normal.
Your first appointment is 40 minutes of conversation, a thorough health history, a comprehensive examination, and treatment of the diagnosed problem if time permits.
With this, you’ll feel comfortable and confident starting your health journey ❤️
Dry needling shouldn’t hurt! Occasionally it can be uncomfortable, especially if placed in a key place, e.g. bang on a trigger point. But no, it should not feel sharp and you should not sit with sustained pain. Let your practitioner know and they will adjust the needles for your comfort. However, I will not sit here and say you don’t feel them 🙈 In this vid I’m needling the external rotator of the shoulder and you see a gorgeous muscle fasciculation ~ this is where the magic happens ❤️
Chiropractors are highly trained! We spend four years learning how to adjust correctly and safely. I definitely don’t have secret ninja skills is promise. Adjustments should be performed when the patient is in a relaxed state, taking joints to end range then a small amount of force and high speed is used to achieve the ‘pop’. There are certain individuals we don’t adjust to minimise risk. Always speak to your chiropractor if you’re uncomfortable with being adjusted. But again it’s safe and precise 🙌🏻x
Have you ever had your diagram worked on ? The diagram is a hard working muscle used for respiration and just like many others it can get tight. It’s a bit funky to work in and around someone’s ribs but always has you feeling amazing and somehow breathing deeper. My maintenance patients know that if you have had a cough / any sort of chest infection, I will be releasing your diaphragm 🤣 In cases of neck and shoulder tension / my high stress girlies ( 🙈 I am also one of those people) it can give us a relaxed body to start adjustments off right ❤️
This is my Morocco mini vlog. It’s actually pretty fun to vlog but not to post instantly 🤣 People who post for a living hats off to you! I think the social media stars deserve every penny.
I don’t know if I will be filming myself in the gym again 🤣 At least I learned that I need to be going far deeper in my squats. ( I tend not to because I am lazy x) I had months off the gym with moving and an injury in the year, so building my weights back up will be a process. 🤞❤️
Getting out of bed in the winter is rough! A cup of tea and 5 minutes of yoga is something I will always look forward to ❤️Five minutes of intentional movement in the morning can regulate the nervous system more effectively than pushing through stiffness or rushing straight into the day. Simple yoga-based mobility supports spinal health, improves proprioception, and encourages calmer breathing patterns — all of which influence how we move, think, and cope with stress throughout the day.
