The Winter Solstice…
The shortest day. The longest night.

It feels natural to me to slow down and withdraw slightly at this time of year, partly because it is busy with Christmas preparation and arrangements. It will be quieter around here, like it has been the last couple of weeks, while we take a break and rest until the New Year.

A dinky little scroll that tells you all about your Bath Blend or Massage Candle and how to use it. It’s only taken me a year to actually create these, so I’m very proud to have made them myself even though they may go unnoticed by some.

Running a small biz/shop/side hustle is a lot more complicated than it seems, but one thing I do really enjoy is being able to make the decisions!

When I first started Wild Mother Rose last year I was very influenced by what other people thought of me - and this was in every aspect of my life too.
Since doing a lot of self-discovery and mindset work this year (thank you 🥰🙌🏼) I’ve learnt to actually make decisions and to trust the ones that I make. I trust myself and my intuition. I have faith in the decisions that I make.

These decisions extend all the way down to the small things, even to Insta content and products that I create. If it doesn’t ‘feel’ right then maybe there’s a reason for that and something needs to be nudged.

The road to success is always under construction so I don’t think we should fear changing things up if something feels out of alignment with where we want to go ✨

It’s absolutely ok to feel all of the things you’re feeling today, positive or negative, or even neutral.

Since April this year I’ve been studying a lot of mindset material through a programme called Thinking into Results by Bob Proctor (have you heard of him?) and my awareness of thoughts and how they link to our feelings amazes me ✨

I’ve been on quite a high vibration for a few weeks and I’m very grateful for that, but then some little gremlins have snuck back in over the last few days and those negative thoughts have begun to stick around a bit longer than I’d like them to. Although it’s so easy to let them grow and take over the mind, they can also be stopped and told where to go 🖕🏼

Whatever thoughts and feelings you’ve got in your company today, just know that it’s ok to feel it all. Take the positives, whatever they may be today, and let go of the rest ✌🏼

This beauty sits in our front garden and shows it’s varying shades of colour from early Spring to mid-Winter. It’s so wonderful and always amazes us with how bright it is!

Some say, in the spiritual realm, the branches can be used to witches to give them more strength and power for their spells, while others believe it a sign of life long strength to handle any problems you may face.

Other symbols include balance, practicality, endurance, abundance, creativity and beauty 🍂

I thought it would be fabulous way to end the week and brighten up these darker afternoons that have crept in!
