✨ Lash Lift Tips for Hooded Lids ✨

Hooded eyes need a different approach. Using the same shield size and placement as every other client can leave lashes over-curled, hidden, or pointing straight back.

Here are my go-to techniques for hooded lids:

✔️ Choose the right shield – Larger shields often create a softer, more flattering lift that opens the eye without over-curling.

✔️ Adjust placement – Positioning the shield slightly lower can help prevent lashes from disappearing into the hood.

✔️ Separate every lash carefully – Proper alignment creates a clean, fanned-out result and avoids crossing.

✔️ Pay attention to lash direction – Natural growth patterns vary, especially at the inner and outer corners.

✔️ Avoid over-processing – Hooded lids can appear more dramatic with less curl. Sometimes “less is more.”

✔️ Customize every client – Eye shape, lid anatomy, and lash length should always determine your technique—not a one-size-fits-all method.

A successful lash lift isn’t about creating the biggest curl—it’s about enhancing the eye shape and giving your client a result that suits them perfectly. 💕
