Jeff's Hair Lounge

As a lot of you will have seen the scaffolding outside of Jeff’s Hair Lounge, after a long, long drawn out thought process and a turbulent few years with family issues and ill health Jeff has come to the decision, after 37 years of business it is now time to wind down and retire. Lisa will continue the salons name and take it on the road going mobile. After all the proposed new dwellings and various planning meetings he has made contact with Tesco and they will be buying and converting the building space to accommodate the ever growing Farndon ‘town’. We’d like to thank you all for your years of support over the years.

Over the last couple of weeks we’ve had this gorgeous ‘reindeer bear’ from keeping us company and people have been guessing its name.
Well, we have filled the name sheet and we can reveal that HIS name is……JACK 💙 congratulations you have a new member of the family in time for Christmas! We’ll keep him safe until you’re able to come and collect him!

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in guessing the name. All the money raised is going straight to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd for all their continuing hard work and dedication to all that they do!

Ladies and Gents…Farndon Soapbox Derby is just 3 weeks away and our Lisa and her amazing netball club are entering the race! Ready and raring to fly down the track hoping to be victorious!

All money raised for the event through people’s kindness and generosity is going to the fantastic ‘Hospice Of The Good Shepherd’ for their continued and incredible work they do in caring for those with life limiting illnesses, these people are real heroes!

So, please, if you can, any donations would be greatly appreciated in helping our local Lady Legends raise as much as we can for this amazing cause! ❤️

Hello family and friends. I’m fundraising for Action Medical Research a non profit organisation in which medical research goes into helping babies and children (check them out). My friends Keith, Kris and girlfriend Natalie are competing in a triathlon style event in the Lake District, yes that’s right, a triathlon - I’m as as shocked as you are - consisting of a 40 mile cycle ride, 2 mile kayak row and an 11 mile hike. Im hoping what’s left of my dodgy lung and the good one will get me through this challenge. I’m now in training with just two months to go.
