Women who receive the HPV vaccine in early adolescence have virtually zero risk of dying from cervical cancer before the age of 30, according to a major study published last month.
Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women worldwide and HPV causes 99% of cases. Around 3,300 women in England are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year.
