✨ ALMOST 7 WEEKS OF WEAR… AND NOT A SINGLE BROKEN NAIL! ✨

These natural nails came back to me after just over 6 weeks of growth, nearly 7 weeks between appointments, and I have to say, I was seriously impressed with how well they held up! 💅

Now, I wouldn’t normally recommend leaving your nails this long between appointments. As your natural nails grow, the structure moves forward, which can increase the risk of lifting, imbalance, and breakages. In fact, it took me a good hour to carefully rebalance and refresh these beauties before we could move on to the fun part.

🩵 The recommended time between appointments is usually 3 to 4 weeks for optimal retention 🩵

But despite the growth, every nail was still intact and the retention from BIAB was incredible! 🙌

For this refresh, we chose a gorgeous n**e French pink base to keep things soft, elegant, and holiday-ready. 🩵💙🩵

My lovely sparkle lady was heading off on an adventure to Alaska 🇺🇸❄️, so she wanted something simple with a personal touch. We added some cute blue hearts 💙🩵 and a tiny little hand painted bear feature 🐻 because she’s hoping to spot some bears while she’s away! 🫣🐻

I can’t wait to hear all about her trip when she’s back! ✈️✨

These natural nails came back for a refresh after 6 weeks of wear wearing BIAB for strength and durability.

In those 6 weeks, these nails survived:

✨ A Makeup Challenge That Meant So Much ✨

A couple of days ago, I received a message from my bride-to-be explaining that her mum had suffered an accident just days before the wedding today, leaving her with significant bruising around both eyes. Understandably, she was feeling extremely upset at the thought of attending such a special occasion feeling self-conscious.

When I saw the photographs, I have to admit I felt a little apprehensive about how much improvement I could achieve. But I was determined to do my very best.

Using a camouflage makeup technique, I carefully neutralised the bruising with colour correction, followed by specialist coverage products matched to her skin tone. Once the discolouration had been significantly reduced, I completed a full makeover to help her feel confident and comfortable for her daughter’s big day.

Seeing her reaction made it all worthwhile. The bruising was dramatically softened and, most importantly, she left smiling. What could have been a heartbreaking situation became a much happier one, allowing her to focus on celebrating precious memories with her family.

This was definitely one of the most challenging makeovers I’ve undertaken, but also one of the most rewarding. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do – helping people feel their very best when it matters most. 💖
