Today we had the honour of welcoming representatives from Alzheimer's Society and a group of incredible carers to our TEMPLESPA head office.
This year with our Caring Starts with you campaign, we’re shining a light on those who give so much of themselves to care for others especially those supporting loved ones living with dementia.
Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer, and someone develops it every three minutes. But together, we can make a difference. In the UK, an estimated 700,000 unpaid carers support loved ones living with dementia. While caregiving can be deeply rewarding, it also presents challenges.
We wanted to offer a little pocket of peace, a moment to pause, reflect, and be cared for. Each carer gives 100% of themselves every day to others, and it meant the world to us to be able to give a little bit back. From shared stories and heartfelt conversations to a nourishing lunch and a calming wellness class, it was a day filled with connection, gratitude, and joy.
