A common question i get asked ALOT!! Let me list the differences😘😘

SOFT WAVES
-curls can be all the same direction or different directions
-combed through gently to give a softer look
-not time consuming to do, average 45 mins
-a look for bridesmaids / mother of the bride/groom
-less product used
-can be moved around/ worn differently through the day
-can be achieved on natural hair, extensions aren’t always needed

HOLLYWOOD WAVES
-bride only, a very time consuming style
-hair is curled the same direction
-lots of product e.g volume powder, wet hairspray, aerosol hairspray & more
- lots of teasing/backcombing to create width and fullness
-hair is set in place, cannot be moved/changed
-should not be touched (huge emphasis on this one!!!!)
-clip in extensions are a MUST!!

I hope you find this useful and answers any questions you may have!🥰😘 Hairstylist girlies, have i missed anything?!

I have alot of frequently asked questions so i thought it would be helpful to do a post like this!! Here are the answers!!

1. Imagine a stranger turning up on one of the most important days of your life and your personalities clash. Imagine asking for a hairstyle and deciding half way through you want to change your mind. Imagine you ask for a half up style and curls drop within a couple of hours. Would you be mortified at any of these scenarios? Trials are an opportunity to test run your all of these things♥️ Honestly it’s so calming to have a familiar face turn up on your wedding day🥰

2. Leave your frizzy hair for your stylist to sort! Straightening your hair only makes it a lot harder for your curls to hold.

3. Those photos you’ve saved for inspo? They have extensions. You want your hair to be full and the wow factor? Then you need extensions. Extensions act as a scaffold for your natural hair to sit with, increasing the longevity of the style! It’s our job as your hair stylist to be honest and realistic with your expectations- you’ll thank yourself later if you budget for some clip ins!!

4. Firstly, i’m honoured🥹 To book, direct message me with your special date, location, time of ceremony and how many people for hair! I will give you a full breakdown of a quote and give you more information if you want to proceed!

5. Honestly- it depends! Some looks can take half an hour, some can take 50 minutes. It depends on the hair style and the hair i’m working with. This is why i don’t particularly like being given a time schedule- if you’re giving me a 45 minute slot per person and someone takes me 50 minutes, it seems as though we’re running behind on the wedding morning, which then causes stress, when actually we are on time!!

6. The answer to this is in the T&C’s i sent you when you booked with me! No later than 2 days before your special day & no earlier than the start of the calendar month you get married♥️

And believe it or not, these extensions i bought a couple of years ago for me to practice with so i thought i’d add them with them being multi tonal… turned out they matched PERFECTLY😍👏🏼 Can you even tell?! I was shook🤯
