My first time riding a lap of the Isle of Wight. Beautiful day for it, quite hot at times! Gutted that Garmin decided to reset itself a couple of times, having been asleep for to long but really pleased with how it all went. Big thanks to the guys and girls at for organising us and helping us around.

Popped into the today for some nutrition ready for tomorrows ride, came out with 3 pairs of shorts and a jersey for the kids as well 🤷🏼♂️
They both decided they needed to try said new kit out, so had a spin on the turbo each ☺️

Great day out with marshalling their SBR event. A child and family friendly, beginner triathlon. Over 100 participants made it one of the biggest events of its kind in the country with feedback such as “thank you, cracking event” and the weather was superb for it ☀️
Well done to all the racers & thanks to all the team at Chichester Triathlon Club.

Arundel Sprint Triathlon 2026 - 7th/157, AG winner.
Really pleased with today’s race. I’ve not had a lot of build up to this with niggles and busy life, so to get comfortably under 8 mins for the swim I’m very happy with, also a strong ride and 2nd fastest run.
Hitting the deck leaving T1 wasn’t great and cost me a minute (I had to wait for a car then my shoe spun around and clipped the floor, flipping me off as I mounted)

A first for my 2 last night - Cycling TT (Time Trial) - just rider against the clock for 7.5 & 10 miles
Both rode very well in challenging conditions of wind and looming rain clouds. Great training for this seasons triathlon races. You never know, I might even have a go myself! Good to see lots of other and having a go too

Sunday night meal prep.
The one school night we aren’t rushing around for clubs and groups so I try to make a filling, healthy lunch for the kids. Loosely based on a recipe out of Bento Lunch Box.
Quinoa, broccoli, pepper, spinach, carrot, boiled egg, cucumber and soy sauce/honey drizzle with some melon for after.

After a morning out in the woods with the , my wife and I made the most of being child free and cycled up Centurion Way for a pub lunch to celebrate our 18 year anniversary
