We're absolutely thrilled to announce that Q Hair & Beauty walked away with the top spot for Large Business (26+ People) at last night's glittering ceremony at the 2026 Chichester & Bognor Regis Business Awards. 🎉

Our intrepid team of Dawn, Gina, Kain and Alex got to experience a truly wonderful evening at the Avisford Park Hotel, spent in excellent company, alongside the representatives of a host of inspirational local businesses.

It goes without saying that it's fantastic to be recognised for everything that had led us to this point. We've built the Q family from the ground up since 1972, and it's always been about developing a strong team who are consistently and continuously devoted to delivering the best possible service that we can when it comes to hair and beauty. 💪

Here's to many more nights like this, and we'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the organisers, the Chichester Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as well as the headline sponsors, Chichester College, and to the sponsor of our category, Kreston Reeves. And of course, we're so grateful to all of our incredible clients over the years, who we simply couldn't have ever dreamed of achieving such a fine result without.

Congratulations should also go to everyone who was present yesterday, from the award finalists, though to the team at Avisford, the combination of whom made it such a special and memorable occasion. Following on from our recent mentions of the wonderful Chichester Cathedral Festival of Flowers that is happening in the city right now, we just had to share the incredible work produced by talented local florists Flower and Hedge Rose at our HQ on North Street. 🌷

They've pulled out all the stops to decorate our front door, and the results are nothing short of spectacular, as we're sure you'll agree!

This has been completed as part of Chichester in Bloom 2026, an exciting new city-wide initiative to help transform the city we call home into a vibrant trail of floral creativity until Sunday (7th June).

From galleries and cafés to independent retailers and salons, the city is coming together to celebrate the landmark 30th anniversary of the Festival of Flowers in spectacular style, and we couldn't be more proud to be involved. 💚

🌸 The Chichester Cathedral Festival of Flowers is on now! 🌸

Many of you will already know Kirsty, one of our wonderful front-desk superstars, but her talents extend far beyond welcoming and looking after our guests!

In fact, 2026 marks her ninth year as part of the dedicated team that helps transform the Cathedral with breathtaking floral displays. Alongside a team of 15 volunteers of all ages, Kirsty helps arrange the flowers at the Cathedral throughout the year. 🌺

For this year's festival, Kirsty has certainly been keeping busy! Working alongside her 81-year-old colleague, she spent an incredible 12 hours over two days creating their stunning display, entitled "Wintering", which can be found at location 30 within the festival.

We're incredibly proud of Kirsty's dedication, creativity and passion, and we encourage everyone visiting the Festival of Flowers to look out for Wintering and experience the remarkable work of Kirsty and her fellow volunteers for themselves. 🌸✨
