Nobody could have predicted that we would be in this situation when we entered 2020, the coronavirus outbreak forcing our hair and beauty salons to close, and many of us feeling isolated and alone.

There will be many of our lovely clients out there worrying about maintaining their current colours, and roots coming through, we ask you all to .
PLEASE don’t use shop bought box colours, many of these will contain ingredients which will then prevent you from returning to your normal colour once this nightmare is over.

A colour correction will cost you far more in the long run and could also jeopardise the condition of your hair.
To some it may be “just hair” but to others when many things are out of our control this is something that will be very important to us.

We can highly recommend either being patient and using this as a rest and R&R for your hair, lots of deep conditioning services, less heat on the hair or we can suggest either mixing your parting up slightly, a little zig zag of the parting, or maybe even moving it to the other side where the colour may be less visible. Have an experiment and try wearing your hair different!

Our other recommended option is a temporary wash out root disguise.
GOLDWELL Dual senses Color revive root touch powder in 5 colours, or Redken root fusion which is a spray also available in 5 shades, are our go to and are our salon brands.
Both these options are temporary and will wash out on the next shampoo but are great for stretching out your maintenance until we re open!!
