My guest Emily found her hair too heavy and just sat doing nothing, however she felt the length was perfect. We took a minimum amount of the length and added in some layers to add some movement and take some of the weight out so Emily could maintain it more herself. We also graduated the sides slightly so she had some shaping round her face to compliment the soft look she was going for. To finish off we did a nice flicky, bouncy blow dry to enhance the layers we added in her for. She left as a happy guest!

Before and after of today's gents cut on my guest Daley. It had been 3 weeks since he had it cut last. Last time we did a grade 1 round the hair line area going into a grade 2, keeping it quite long on top so he was able to still style it how he wanted. However, this time Daley felt that by 3 weeks it had got too long and heavy for him which made it hard to style, so we went for a grade 1 round the hairline area fading into a 1 and a half still keeping it longer on top but more rounded. We also took the weight out on top to make it softer and less heavy.

Today I refreshed my guests highlights up after 6 months of having no colour. We kept the blonde in and added some light brown in there to break up the blonde, giving it a soft look! We also shaped her cut back up giving it a sharper but softer look by taking the back into the neck more and making more texturised layers to help keep the fullness and add volume!

After 7 weeks growth my guest felt that her hair had lost shape and it's fullness! We liked the shape it had and wanted to maintain that with keeping as much of the length as possible whilst making it look lovely and full again! My guest was very happy!
