Olaplex is highly recommended to be used in colour, especially with lightening services. This will prevent any further damage and repair any broken bonds during the process. We also offer a stand alone Olaplex treatment which can be offered inbetween colour service to help repair damage from frequent colouring and bleaching. This improves and maintains hair strength and integrity to help lessen breakage and allow the hair to grow longer. Olaplex repairs the single sulfur hydrogen bonds which conditioner is unable to do resulting in longer lasting colours. Gorgeous glossy violet red balayage 😍 🍇

13/08/2026

So I’ve been thinking recently about my business, and I think I need to make a big change to my working hours…

This is something I’ve been thinking about for a little while, and if I’m completely honest, it’s a decision I’ve found quite difficult to make.

I absolutely LOVE being busy. Being in the salon, having you lovely lot in my chair, doing what I love every day -that genuinely is my happy place. I put so much of myself into every appointment, and I’m so, so grateful to every single person who keeps my diary booked and busy.

Especially after having so much time away from the salon over the last couple of years because of my health and surgeries, I’ve loved being back doing what I love and building my business back up again.

But I’ve also had to be honest with myself and realise that something needs to change.

Running a business isn’t easy, and there’s a whole side to it that you don’t see. When I’m fully booked from morning until late evening, there’s still a huge amount of work waiting for me once the last client has left - answering and keeping up with messages and enquiries, organising appointments, ordering stock, keeping on top of social media and content, cleaning, laundry,… all the little things that go into keeping a business running that nobody really sees.

And at the moment, I’ve realised I’m trying to fit all of that around a completely full diary, while also trying to have some time for myself and a life outside of work.

I’ve got to the point where I’m going all day without eating, sometimes not even having my tea until really late because I’ve been working back to back. I’ve also realised that on busy days I’m not drinking anywhere near enough water. 🥴

And with my health, I simply can’t afford to let those things become an afterthought. I’ve been advised by my doctors that keeping properly hydrated is really really important, and I need to start putting my health first again rather than constantly putting it at the bottom of the list.

I want to be able to take that time out to go to the gym, for a walk, actually sit down and have lunch during the day, keep on top of my own home and have some proper downtime without feeling like I’m constantly rushing from one thing to the next.

I did find myself considering opening Sundays because I genuinely love being in the salon that much. But after finishing work recently and finding myself in tears because I was completely overwhelmed & feeling like I’m not doing good enough ,it really hit me - I realised I need to take a step back.

Not because I want to work less or because I’m any less passionate about what I do but quite the opposite.

I want to make sure I have the time and headspace to give attention to ALL parts of my business, not just the hours where I’m physically behind the chair. I want to be able to keep up with my clients properly, keep up with all message enquiries , put time into my social media and the behind the scenes side of my business, and still have enough left in me to enjoy my life outside of work too.

So from 17th August , my new working hours will be:

🤍 Monday — CLOSED
🤍 Tuesday — CLOSED
🤍 Wednesday — 12pm–7pm
🤍 Thursday — 10am–6:30pm
🤍 Friday — 9am–8:30pm
🤍 Saturday — 9am–3pm

Friday remaining my late night, but I’m slightly reducing my hours on the other days.

I’ll review these hours again in a few months once I’ve had time to see how everything feels and how the new routine works for both myself and the business.

I know this may mean appointments become a little more limited, and I completely understand that it might not suit everyone’s schedule. But I hope you can understand why I feel this is something I need to do for myself, my health and the future of my business.

I’m incredibly grateful that I’m even in a position where I can make this decision. Having a diary that is busy enough for me to actually NEED to reduce my hours is something I’ll never take for granted.

Thank you, as always, for supporting me, booking with me, recommending me, interacting with my posts and trusting me with your hair. It genuinely means more than you know. 🤍

Here’s to finding a better balance, putting my health first again, giving myself a little more breathing room, and continuing to grow the business in a way that feels happy, healthy and sustainable for me. ✨

*****Just to reassure anyone who already has an appointment booked in, your appointment will stay exactly as it is. 🤍
I do have some existing appointments booked outside of my new working days/hours, and I’ll absolutely be keeping these as they are. These new hours will apply to new appointments booked going forward, so there’s no need to worry about any appointments you already have in the diary being moved or cancelled.******

Amazing example of a before & after colour transformation.

Dimensional & blended ✨

My camera roll:
5% actual hair results, 95% me moving the client’s head three inches to the left, then two inches to the right, then asking them to tilt up, then down, then wait… stay there… no, go back! 😂 It’s a full time job, but we got the shot! Who knew finding the right lighting was such a workout? 😮‍💨😅

Anyway, look at the face frame highlights. Soft, subtle but definitely make a difference. 😍

How stunning is this blend. 🤩
The goal was to add brighter pops of blonde throughout, keeping it blended for a seamless grow out & adding a soft money piece around the front hairline to add that extra brightness.

Service:
•balayage & face framing highlights
•custom mix glossing toner
•cut / blowdry & waves

I’m officially back home from my holidays! ✈️

I got back yesterday morning and safe to say the jet lag has well and truly hit 🥲😅 Trying to reset my body clock is proving a little challenging 😩

I’ve been back behind the chair today with clients, and I’m now currently working my way through all messages. I’ve got a long list to work through two weeks’ worth across Facebook, Instagram & emails so please do bear with me. I promise I’m not ignoring anyone!

I’ve got a full house clean and what feels like a mountain of washing to tackle… the glamorous side of coming home from holiday 😅

That said, I had the most amazing time away and loved every minute of it. Early mornings, late nights, and making the most of every single day. I made a real effort to stay off my phone and properly switch off, and it was honestly so refreshing.

Back to reality in the blink of an eye but also back to doing what I love (even if I do currently feel like a bit of a zombie 😅)

Just thought I’d share a few pics of life in Jamaica 🇯🇲 🌴

Thank you all for your patience whilst I get back up to speed 💛

Just a little reminder that I’m currently on holiday and fully switching off, soaking up every single second ☀️🌴✨
I’m honestly having the best time so far!
Still doesn’t feel real that I’m actually here after waiting so long. 🤭☺️

I’ll be back to work from 5th May, and I’ll be going through and responding to all messages as soon as I’m back.

I’ll share a few pictures a little later too 📸

Thank you for your patience
