A question for you all this Wednesday morning -

When was the last time you went to the dentist?

A close friend of mine went to the dentist for a routine check up, the dentist detected an abnormality in his mouth & sent him for further testing. A week later Gary was diagnosed with stage 2 tongue cancer. Today Gary is having a 12 hour operation. He is having a partial tongue removal, neck dissection, skin graft, tracheotomy and feeding tube. Gary will spend a minimum of 2 weeks in hospital and will need to re-learn how to speak & eat again. This all started with a trip to the dentist which a lot of people avoid going to. Please please attend your dental appointments & urge anyone who doesn’t feel right to get things checked!

I have started a GoFundMe for Gary and his family while Gary is unable to work as he is a self employed joiner so won’t be able to return for some time. Any donations/shares of this post would be greatly appreciated ❤️‍🩹

As most of you know this year has been a challenging one, my health, the sale of the salon and unfortunately on Friday my fur baby had to be put to sleep🥹 I can’t thank Houghton Village Vet enough for being so brilliant with us and Ruby. I’d highly recommend anyone in the local area who’s looking for a vet to go and see Zoe there!
I’m still taking a break from makeup for now but hope to get back painting faces when I’m ready some time in the future🥰
