Have you always wanted to roller skate but never had the confidence to go on your own? Or maybe you used to skate years ago and would love an excuse to get your skates back on?

North Essex Roller Divas (NERDS) is a fun, friendly and supportive women’s roller skating group where the focus is on enjoying ourselves—not being perfect.

Whether you’re taking your very first wobbly steps, getting back into skating after years away, or already confident on wheels, all abilities are welcome. There are no competitions, no pressure and no judgement—just lots of encouragement, laughter and new friendships.

Just a little update to let you know that Just Hair by Lauren will be closed from Friday 24st until Wednesday 29th while we head to Scotland to celebrate a very special family wedding. 💍🤍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

During this time I'll be spending precious moments with family, so replies to messages may be a little slower than usual. I'll get back to everyone as soon as I return.

Hi, I'm Lauren! 🤍

I'm a proud mum to Charlotte (19) and Tamsin (17), and I've been married to my amazing husband, Gary, for 23 years.

Hairdressing has been my passion since I left school, although I actually started with a Saturday job in a salon before that. Looking back, I've now been doing hair for around 26 years… wow, where has the time gone?!

I genuinely love every part of what I do, from seeing my lovely regular ladies each week to welcoming clients who visit every few months for a fresh new look. Building relationships with my clients is one of the best parts of my job.

Two years ago, I took a leap of faith and started my own home salon. Then, in November, I took another exciting step and moved into my own space at Valley Bridge Business Centre.

I've created a calm, welcoming salon where every appointment is completely one-to-one. I love giving each client my full attention in a relaxed, personal environment, and I truly feel so grateful that this is what I get to do every day.

Who knows what the future holds? For now, I'm exactly where I want to be, doing what I love and creating beautiful hair for wonderful people. Thank you for being part of my journey. 🤍
