Today was a little reminder that networking doesn’t always feel easy from the minute you walk through the door 😂💜
I definitely had a few awkward moments at the start, but I’m so glad I stayed.
I ended up meeting some genuinely lovely people, having proper conversations, watching some brilliant demos and coming away with new connections — which, for me, is what networking is really about.
I much prefer the real, face-to-face side of business. Getting to know people, chatting naturally, learning from each other and seeing where those connections go.
Sometimes you just have to push through the awkward bit until you find your people ✨

Little moments like this mean so much 💜
My pregnancy massage model came in today and surprised me with w**e and chocolates as a thank-you. I genuinely wasn’t expecting anything at all, so it absolutely made my day 🥹
I love being able to create treatments that make people feel looked after, especially during such a special stage of life.
We also had a little chat about my upcoming postpartum ritual treatment for when she’s ready after baby arrives, so who knows… this may be the start of a lovely little client journey 💜✨

Sometimes you need to look back to realise how far you’ve actually come 💜
I’ve been getting some of my qualifications and achievements ready to go up in the studio, and seeing them all together gave me a bit of a moment.
From starting out with beauty and massage qualifications, to advanced beauty, education and training, winning Best Massage, and then seeing my own wellness studio featured in the local paper…
There have definitely been days where I’ve wondered what on earth I’m doing 😂 but this reminded me that none of it happened overnight.
It’s been years of learning, working, building confidence, changing direction, trying again and just keeping going.
And now I get to put all of this up in my own studio. That bit feels pretty special. 💜
