Ohhh, I absolutely LOVE getting to see my custom creations being worn! 🥹🫶🏼

This one is a gorgeous mix of dread-to-waves and handmade dreads, bringing together all that beautiful flowing texture with those chunkier dread details — and seeing the whole set finally installed is just 😍✨

Every piece was handmade by me at YorkieWaves, created as one completely individual custom set from the colours and textures right down to all those little finishing details.

Dread-to-wave has quickly become one of my absolute favourite things to create. There’s just something about mixing those long, soft waves with dreads that gives the finished hair so much texture, movement and personality. 🥹

From fibres on my worktable… to a finished creation… to finally seeing it being worn. 🫶🏼✨

✨ ANOTHER YORKIEWAVES CREATION OUT IN THE WILD ✨

This custom creation is packed with pinks, soft lilacs and whites, broken up with those gorgeous pops of turquoise and green 💗💜🩵💚 — with a mixture of waves, faux locs, braids and little details running throughout.

Every piece was handmade by me at YorkieWaves, working together with my customer, choosing colour and blending the colours right through to creating all those different textures. ✨

And then you see the before and after… 😍 What a transformation! All that colour, texture and length while still being completely individual to the person wearing it.

I’ve been waiting for this moment since I made them… I honestly cannot wait to finally wear them! 🥹✨

This creation was never made with a custom in mind… it was made for me. 🌙

A little experiment, a little challenge, and a chance to push myself into something new.

After learning, practising, and finally taking the leap into dread-to-wave, I wanted to see where my imagination could take me.

This piece holds a little piece of my journey — the excitement, the learning, and the magic of creating something completely from my own vision. ✨

But sometimes a creation has a little magic of its own… and if someone falls in love with this colour story, I’d love to create their own enchanted version — with their own personal touches, charms and trinkets woven into it.

Because every YorkieWaves creation should feel like it belongs to the person wearing it. 🖤🌌
