Circadia’s Firming Peptide Mask works through a combination of skin-supporting peptides, amino acids and antioxidants.

🧬 L-Carnosine is a dipeptide that helps protect against oxidative stress and glycation — a process that can compromise collagen and elastin, contributing to loss of firmness.

⚡ L-Carnitine supports cellular energy metabolism, helping support the processes involved in skin renewal.

🛡️ Beta-glucan helps support the skin’s natural repair processes, while green and white tea extracts provide antioxidant protection.

Really satisfying before & after from today’s consultation. This treatment was mainly focused on extractions as my client had some open & closed comedones.

The key to safe extractions is to prep the skin properly to ensure no damage is caused while extracting. As you can see. There were some that were unsafe to extract, so were left alone.

JANUARY - SEPTEMBER

My lovely client came to me in January wanting to prep for her wedding in July. We had limited appointments so had to be strategic with treatments & homecare.

What we did:

We stripped homecare right back and focused on products that would support her barrier & reduce inflammation. She was using some pretty stripping & heavily fragranced products (that were actually pretty expensive 👀) and replaced them for a tailored routine to suit HER skin specifically.

Treatment wise:
✨ JAN: Started with a bespoke Inc LED to focus on barrier health.
✨ FEB: did a Peel x LED now that barrier was in stable condition.
✨ MARCH/ APRIL/ MAY: Peel x Microneedling x LED to really speed up our progress and also deal with some post inflammatory erythema & texture.
✨ JUNE/ JULY: Took it back to bespoke x LED to ensure we didn’t trigger any purge before the big day.

Although the big day has passed, my client still has plenty of things such look forward to, such as honeymoon 🥰 so we will be continuing treatment to get her skin to the best possible place.

For this Tier 1 Bespoke treatment we did the following:

6 weeks difference just making some small tweaks to my clients home routine. This is without adding in the products I have in mind for her.

My main aim for this client was to get a solid routine in place with fewer products before we integrate her personally tailored products in.

Visibly calmer barrier, less inflammation, smoother texture & more hydration.

My favourite takeaway from this appointment was my client saying she hadn’t had any of her usual deep painful breakouts since tweaking her routine. BUZZING.

Give me a sec to geek out… I know a lot of you love when I explain HOW the different treatments work.

One of my favourites is the Circadia Oxygen RX, especially for acne and congestion.

The Oxygen RX works through a controlled chemical oxygenation reaction. When the activator is applied, it creates an oxygenated state at the skin’s surface, temporarily increasing oxygen availability and encouraging vasodilation, microcirculation and superficial blood flow.

Why is that interesting for acne?

Inflamed acne lesions are metabolically active and inflammation can compromise the surrounding tissue. Supporting circulation can help support the skin’s natural repair processes, leaving the skin looking less inflamed, brighter and more oxygenated.

But the best bit is being able to combine it with other treatments to create a completely customised treatment.

A couple of my favs are:

Enzymes use proteolytic activity to break down the proteins holding dead skin cells together. This helps improve desquamation and reduce accumulated keratin, which can contribute to microcomedone formation and congestion.

Charcoal works through adsorption. Its porous structure binds oils, debris and other impurities at the skin’s surface, making it particularly useful for oily and congested skin.

So when we combine them, we’re targeting different parts of the acne pathway:

Oxygen RX → oxygenation + superficial circulation
Cocoa Enzyme → enzymatic exfoliation + desquamation
Charcoal → excess oil + surface impurities

And that’s why I love customising the Oxygen RX rather than treating every skin the same.

It’s not about aggressively stripping acne-prone skin — it’s about understanding what’s contributing to the congestion and inflammation and choosing the right technology to address it.
