Rural Rest Lanarkshire's outdoor relaxation and wellbeing community group We are a new proactive, pioneering and innovative organisation ready to properly introduce and continue the importance of outdoor health and wellbeing.

"You can imagine me trying to explain Robe and Rest to my family when I first had the idea of bringing a relaxation experience to Whifflet! Most people probably thought it was a bit mad, but I never doubted it for a second. I ran towards the vision and kept going until it became a reality.
The purpose of Robe and Rest was fulfilled — it showed there was a real need for people to slow down, reconnect, and look after their well-being. Now the journey continues with Rural Rest, bringing the focus outdoors and creating spaces where people can connect with nature, themselves, and each other.
It's been a truly spectacular and unbelievable journey. Looking back, I can see God's hand all over it. Every challenge, every lesson, and every door that opened led to something greater than I could have imagined. When you walk in faith, sometimes the path doesn't make sense to everyone else, but you keep moving forward because you know the purpose is bigger than you." 🙏✨🌿

People need to stand together—every race, every background—and bring humanity back to the forefront. There is far too much division, and it's heartbreaking to see so many people displaced from their own countries.
How did we get to this point? Instead of fighting one another, perhaps we should be asking why so many people are being forced to leave their homes and what is causing so much displacement around the world.
At the end of the day, we're all human. More understanding, compassion, and unity are needed now more than ever. It's all very sad to witness.
