Good Morning from The Barbers Den.
We have recently had a few (not many) just a few customers suggest that our website says John is on holiday at the moment.
Our website does give the dates that John is on holiday from Monday 16th September and returning on Tuesday 8th October. It's in Bold too 😀. I can't stress enough how politely this message is intended. John is currently working his usual days and not on holiday at this present time. Thank you so much.

It’s Johns holiday time again!
If John is your preferred barber he will be away from the shop from Fri 10th May and returns on Sat 25th May.
There are more holiday dates of course for John this year but I’ll update those in a few weeks. The shop remains open during holiday time but with slightly different hours. Walk ins can be difficult to accommodate during staff shortages so appointments are strongly advised.

A quick note for customers who call our Barbers. As we do not have a receptionist we are unable to answer calls due to being with customers all day. We have a detailed answer phone message that can either answer your question immediately or it also says for a call back leave a voice message with your number and I will call you back the same working day, this means during the hours the shop is open. Or the answer phone message says you can also text if you’d prefer and we will respond the same day during the hours the shop is open. You will also be given our website information by listening to our answer phone message. Any late evening messages will be responded to the next working day. Johns request is that he doesn’t have involvement in the phone side of operations or bookings but you will always be booked in with your requested barber if you have a preference. I hope this is helpful.

To all customers. When booking online we offer appointments every 30 minutes. John is a very fast barber and usually takes bookings inbetween booking times so if you find we are showing fully booked already please send a text or leave a voice message for a call back and we will do the best we can to squeeze you in. We are having a few problems with the contact number used for our barbers at the moment. Please accept my apologies if you text and it takes a little while to respond. We have some early closures on Mondays for the next few weeks while we have work carried out on our shop. I have advertised Mondays as appointment only during this time to avoid any disappointment for walk ins.
Tue, Thur, Fri , Sat remain the same. Appointments are advised, you are welcome to walk in we just can’t guarantee a wait time on all other days.

We have had a lady try very hard to get an electrician to cut her Sons hair last Monday afternoon, but sadly they don’t seem keen 😀.
