LOSE TO WIN❤️

This time I decided to write in English, as some text features is not going to sound well in Lithuanian🙈😂
This evening we, me and my son spend time together. We call it "mum's & son's time". As mum of 3 kids I have to plan my personal time with all kids. My little girls are still little and all my day are with them. On this occasion I have to be conscious about my oldest son. His time is special and I have to make plans for it. When we spend it together our bonding becomes stronger and love grows up. When we start to argue and he gets my nerves I know that we have just to have " our" time. It is wisdom to invest in to your kids, I do this first for myself , to love my child I have to listen him heart to heart. This quality time helps me to be better mum.
So lets talk about today what we learn. Me, my husband and my son, we are so so competitive. For us are not easy to lose and this lesson learnt today is for myself as well. So this evening we went to play bowling, and after 4 rolls game started to be not funny anymore. My little boy got so upset with a game because mum were winning .I didn't that on purpose but somehow so many games always end the same. Sometimes I let him win but I can not do that always because he is big enough for fair games. So the end is , crying and shouting what a loser he is. Some how for me it comes funny feelings inside. I am trying to explain that this is just a game, but with all that drama I want to laugh and situation becomes worse. Do you now what I mean? 🙈So today we were learning about how to learn to lose. My boy was crying in the car and I tried to explain that he is champion anyway. But for kids is so hard. For adults are so hard, for kids even more. He was telling " mum it is so hard to lose". I always want to win" And honestly I love his sincerity. But I said: " Samuel, winner is that person who knows how to lose and learns to enjoy a game. And he started to cry again😂 "Mum so I am a loser anyway because I do not know how to lose " 😂😂😂At that point I could not hold it anymore. It sound so funny. This boy knows how to make me feel so many emotions at once . I said "Samuel that how we learn to lose, by losing so many times. Doing mistakes or losing is does not mean that you are loser, its mean that you are learning and practising one day to win. A lot of stars and professionals lost so many times because they had to practise. Even todays game were not for competition it was for practise. As no one of us, we are not professionals. Game is for enjoying time together. Is not always necessary to win. So like in real life competition is needed to improve your skills, to make you grow. But to do not make you down. To make you stronger and better in the way you play. And finally, to make enjoy your play.
I love my son and conversations together, sometimes is hard to get that stubbornness but afters some time he things and learns. I believe he will need to lose so many times until he learns that losing is OK? But it is a process in God's hands, for healthy growing. So I have some questions to you? How do you spend your day out alone?
Like eveyone mums need them space and them time just for themselves 🌸Them space, them peace, them rhythm. So once they try to go out alone they find themselves overwhelmed because they do not know how to be alone.
1️⃣So tip number one. Plan it!! Plan your time!! Put an effort to write down something what you wish to do alone when you are with kids at home. And use this wish when you have time. For example: you wanted to colouring book " your own coloring book🙈😂nice and clean" Go to the restaurant order nice tea and Do IT!
2️⃣ your time is all for you so do not rush. Do things at your time and you will feel how sense of life is coming back. Just stay, walk slowly, listen music. It is so reviving.
3️⃣ Buy something you wanted for long time. Nice notebook, nose earing🙈😂, lipstic, cup or something beautiful. Make a gift for yourself. You deserve it. " Not for others, like " mum look what a new slime is " or look " mum I want this" . No, no, no!! It is just for you! Spend it!!
4️⃣When you relax and treat yourself with anything you like, from deep heart you will start to listen what your wish and dreams are. Maybe new things come in mind to try. Write down. And add to your daily life. Dont forget yourself. As one man said" Happy wife, happy life". 🕺🕺
