A new client came in for a consultation, and on assessment her hair showed an overall yellow/gold tone with uneven lift throughout.

What stood out most was clear colour overlap and banding, creating a patchy and inconsistent blonde that needed a full correction.

Following a full consultation and skin test, the client returned 48 hours later for her colour appointment.

We carried out a full colour correction, carefully lifting and rebalancing the tone to create a seamless blend from root to ends.

The result is a soft, dimensional beige blonde with a subtle root melt for a more natural grow-out.

By neutralising unwanted warmth and restoring shine, we achieved a clean, even finish that feels brighter, healthier, and far more wearable.

Starting from a warm, uneven base, I focused on creating an even canvas before refining the tone into this Smoky Pearl Blonde with a soft champagne finish.

👨🏼‍🎨The key here was keeping the blend seamless through the root — no harsh lines, just a soft melt for a more natural, expensive finish.

Soft root melt, controlled tone, and a balance of cool smoky hues with that subtle champagne glow to keep it looking bright, not flat.

If I’m being really picky, I could push a touch more depth into the root for even more contrast — but overall a beautiful, soft result.👨🏼‍🎨

Chelsea came to us after attempting her colour at home and not quite achieving the result she had hoped for. At-home colouring can be unpredictable, especially when working with lighter tones.

Using professional L’Oréal colour, Scott James carefully corrected the uneven tones and restored the hair’s condition, creating a beautifully soft, seamless buttermilk dark blonde finish.

My incredible client had started to get greys coming through and didn’t want to keep using tint, so she was ready for a fresh new look. We decided to go for a grey blending technique so her hair can grow out more naturally without that harsh regrowth line.

She also wanted to grow her hair, so to support the condition we created a strong, blunt box bob with a soft fringe – the perfect shape to keep the ends healthy while it grows.
