THE FACE TAN DEBATE 🤎👇🏼

Before anyone comes for me… 😂

I’m NOT saying you have to tan your face for your wedding.

And I’m definitely not saying full coverage is bad.

What I am saying is that your tan can actually influence how much makeup I need to use to create your desired finish.

🤍 No face tan - your complexion starts much lighter, so if we want to bring your face up to the depth of your body, we may need a fuller-coverage base.

🤎 A little face tan - we’re starting much closer to the finished depth, so I can potentially use less coverage and let more of your natural skin show through.

And if your dream makeup is radiant, seamless and skin-like… that second option is usually going to make my job a LOT easier. 👏🏼

Think of it like painting a wall - the closer the colour underneath is to the colour you’re trying to achieve, the less paint you need! 🎨
