💜 Purple shampoo is NOT your toner.

One of the biggest mistakes I see blondes make at home is using purple shampoo every wash because they’re scared their blonde will go yellow.

One year of regrowth, one set of extensions, and one challenge🧐

2 reasons why your toner fades so quickly ✨

1️⃣ Your hair wasn’t properly prepped before the toner was applied.
If the hair is overly porous, dry, or the cuticle is left too open after lightening, the toner has nothing stable to hold onto.
That means your toner can grab unevenly, then disappear after only a few washes.

2️⃣ Your home aftercare is stripping it out.
Harsh shampoos, high pH products, heat, hard water, and overwashing can all break down your toner much faster, especially on blonde hair.
