The Slow Revolution

The Slow Revolution

Gorgeous woman-centred care to experience life at a deliberately healthy pace. Kinesiologist, Somatic Counsellor, Yin & Meditation Teacher. Was it a better time?

The Slow Revolution is the revolutionary practice of slowing down, living with mindfulness and presence, to accomplish more. As a woman who can remember a time of a world without the buzz of the internet and constant pings of mobile phones. I honestly don’t know, but I do believe our nervous systems and energy got more time and space to replenish and restore. The modern pace of life is quite frank

A very cute interruption whilst trying to record a welcome video for the High Stress Solutions programme 😍

Yin is my go to practice and having it at 28 degree warmth .practise.colchester is pure heaven 😇🥰

Having space to slow things down, get into your body and release held tension will always be one of my favourite practices ♥️

From the outside, it can look like you’re connected…
in the room, in the conversation, part of it all.

But during times of high stress, I notice how easy it is to feel…
separate.

Stress can quietly hijack your thoughts, your feelings, and the way you show up.

You might be stood right there —
with people you care about —
and still feel a million miles away.

Struggling to connect.
To others.
To yourself.

It can feel like invisible barriers come up.

And from here, it’s so easy to slip into pushing…
trying to do more, be more —
hoping it will bring you back.

But it doesn’t.
It often just creates more depletion.

If this feels familiar, I’d genuinely love to know…
have you ever felt like this, even when you’re surrounded by people?

Or if it feels easier, my DMs are always open

Sometimes doing the right thing
doesn’t feel easy.

Slowing down has looked like
sitting with a lot of emotion lately…
not rushing to fix it.

There’s wisdom in this.

I’m practicing trusting the process - is the work too.

High stress changes the nervous system.
• It changes digestion.
• Hormones.
• Sleep.
• Focus.
• Confidence.

When you’ve lived in pressure for long enough,
your body forgets how to feel safe.

And no amount of mindset work fixes that.

That’s why I created The High Stress Solution.

Not more pushing.
Not more strategy.
Not “try harder.”

But a body-first reset.

Understand → Release → Expand.

If you’re a sensitive woman in business who’s done the work…
but still feels stuck in stress cycles…

This is for you.

DM me if you’d like to know more.

You can know all the tools.
The breathwork.
The mindset shifts.
The nervous system practices.

And still find yourself circling the same edges.

Because there’s a limit to how deeply we can receive
when we’re guiding ourselves.

When someone skilled is holding you steady,
something drops.
Something opens.

The work goes deeper.
And it doesn’t have to be so hard.

What’s your word for 2026?

Mine is STABILISE.

The last four months of my life have been full of change and movement —
including adopting two rescue Boxers 🐾💛
Beautiful… and a lot for the nervous system.

So this year isn’t about pushing forward harder.
It’s about anchoring.

When we’re in a high state of stress, having one word can be incredibly powerful.
Not as pressure.
But as a reference point.

A gentle question to come back to.

For me, instead of asking:
❌ What do I need to do next?
❌ What else should I be managing?

I ask:
👉 What needs to stabilise today?

If I feel off-kilter, overwhelmed, or scattered —
that word becomes a mirror.
A pause.
A recalibration.

Your word might be:
• Ease
• Creativity
• Abundance
• Expansion
• Joy
• Peace
• Balance

Whatever you choose, let it be an anchor —
for your day
your week
your month
your year.

✨ So I’m curious…
What’s your word for 2026?
What do you want to feel more of?
What do you want the vibe of your year to be?

Keep it simple.

The best resets are ones that can be done anywhere, anytime.

Breath-in
Breath-out
Go again

Much love

I’m learning to rethink how much I can expect from myself.

In some ways, this is nothing new. In business, we often strive to achieve, pushing ourselves to get it done. When we can't meet those expectations, then we’re quick to criticise ourselves or try to "fix" the situation. Like we’re machines.

My lung is on the mend, but I get tired easily. I don’t always have the energy to do what I’d planned. I’m having to consider how I manage this and how much I can expect from myself.

What about you?—how much do you expect from yourself each day? And when you don’t reach it, how do you speak to yourself?

If you tend towards the critical, then try acknowledging your needs by saying this

"Today may feel a little slower, and that’s okay. I’m giving myself permission to rest and trust that I’m still moving forward."

Being kind to yourself takes practice.
