Tribute to Estella Tocknell, 1952 - 2026 Dedicated to the memory of Anne/Annie

Evening lovelies.
Many of you will still be getting texts from Fresha reminding you of your appointments. This is an automated service, and the messages I have sent out - and have yet to send out- still stand.
I have decided not to return to work until we are at the new premises in Sling
On 3rd July. This is a week after my mums funeral so I’ll be trying not to go too mental- though you know me and my habit for throwing myself in to work!
So please ignore any fresha reminder messages. The reason they’re happening is because if I cancel your appointments, you’ll lose your deposits so I’ve just blocked the time out so I can reschedule them when I’m back and move your deposits with them.
Thank you all so much for your lovely messages, kindness and understanding at this incredibly difficult time. I’m so proud and lucky to have you as my clients 🩷🩷🩷🩷

For all those wishing to attend the service for my beautiful mamma Anne Tocknell ,
The service will be held at Cinderford Crematorium on Thursday 25th June at 2:30pm
This is an open invitation and anyone who wishes to come and pay their respects are more than welcome, we only ask that you do not wear black! Mammas orders! We all know how my mum loved colour and this is a celebration of her life 🌈
The procession will be starting at approximately 1:45-2pm from 15 Whitecross Road for those who wish to join in the procession, otherwise we will be so glad to see you there at the Crematorium.
The wake is yet to be fully organised yet so I don’t want to give out the details until they’re firmed up, but rest assured I will keep you updated.

Thank you so much to all those who have sent messages, cards, flowers . Knowing how much my mamma was loved has truly warmed my heart ❤️

We are asking that all those who wish to send flowers for the funeral, make a donation to UNICEF instead in mums honour.

On Friday 29th May 2026 at 1:50pm on a sunny afternoon, my beloved mamma passed away at home surrounded by her husband (my dad) and her children (my brother David and sister Ruth)
In true matriarch fashion, mum planned everything and we all came together to make sure she passed just as she wished. Peacefully, gracefully, painlessly and surrounded with love.
The world lost an incredible woman today, my dad lost his soulmate, I lost my mother and best friend.
There’s a void that could never be filled as this is an insurmountable loss, but we are supporting each other through this most awful time.
I obviously don’t have the specifics of the funeral yet, though we know it will be at the Forest Crematorium and that my mother has banned black , insisting on bright colours only.
When I have the details , I will update further, and those who wish to attend are all welcome.
I’d like to thank those who have known about my mums cancer diagnosis at Christmas for the love and support they have shown. It has truly been a blessing and given me the strength I need to carry out my duties in organising everything, from initial diagnosis right through to knowing my family have been in your thoughts whilst we gathered around her to ease her journey through to her next phase.
