Why shaving is fine between laser sessions, but waxing isn’t

Laser hair removal works by targeting the hair follicle beneath the skin.

Shaving only removes the hair at surface level, so the follicle is still there for the laser to target at your next appointment.

Waxing, plucking and threading remove the hair from the root, which means there is nothing for the laser to effectively target.
