Today is a little different at Afterglow Studios. 🌻

One year ago, we said goodbye to someone who meant the world to me—my grandad.

Many of you may not know that the sunflower woven throughout Afterglow Studios isn’t just part of our branding. It’s there for him. He loved sunflowers, and they remind me every day to keep smiling, keep going, and to build something he would have been proud of.

He was one of my biggest supporters through every challenge and every achievement. Even on the hardest days, I still find myself wishing I could tell him all about the salon, the amazing clients I’ve met, and how much Afterglow has grown.

To honour his memory today, every client visiting the salon will receive a small sunflower gift bag. It’s my way of sharing a little piece of the warmth, kindness and happiness he brought into my life.

Thank you to every single one of you who has supported Afterglow Studios. Whether you’ve booked an appointment, recommended us to a friend, or simply liked and shared a post, you’ve helped build something that started with a dream—and a lot of encouragement from someone I’ll always carry with me.
