As many of you know, the last 18 months have been a whirlwind of emotions. Sadly, we’re now at a point where Jez is receiving palliative treatment to help manage his symptoms and give us more precious time together.

In the midst of it all, our incredible friend has created a JustGiving page to help ease some of the pressure during this incredibly tough time.

A new year’s update for all my clients🤍

At Jez’s last follow up scan, the doctors told us that unfortunately he had 3 new secondary tumours, even though he was recovering beautifully from his operation!

We made the decision to start chemotherapy as soon as we could but we managed to fit in a little trip to New York before the chemo chaos began.

I am still taking time off to care for Jez but I think about you all very often!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas spent with loved ones, making happy memories and eating lots of cheese and chocolates🤍

I promise to keep you all updated on Jez’s progress and get in touch when I am ready to get back to pampering you all!

7 days ago, my wonderful husband underwent a huge operation performed by an incredible surgeon at the Christie’s.

The fabulous team of doctors managed to remove a 19 KG tumour from Jez’s abdomen and effectively save his life.

I just wanted to post it to my work page as I know so many of you have been asking about how we are getting on.

Jez is doing incredibly well and has been discharged today and is back at home where he belongs- almost 5 stone lighter😅

He underwent a massive operation and it’s going to take him some time to get over the ordeal, therefore I am still taking some time off work- I will keep you all updated on his progress and will let you know as soon as I am ready to return to work.

A positive note to all my clients💜

Jez and I tied the knot on Saturday!

After the news about chemo not being an option for him, we made the very quick decision to move our wedding forwards! We were married at the registry office in Crewe and had a boogie afterwards! We realised that life is too short to wait around✨

I can’t wait to see you all back in the salon and tell you all about it

IMPORTANT UPDATE✨

As many of you know, unfortunately my gorgeous partner Jez has had a few hiccups with his cancer journey- after developing an infection in his tumour he was admitted to The Christie’s for 10 days- this threw a spanner in the works with his chemo journey meaning he is no longer well enough to withstand having chemo.

Although I have done my upmost to keep my business going during this time, it is just too much for me to carry on working at this time!

Therefore I have made the decision to TEMPORARILY CLOSE the salon.

I want to send my apologies to anyone that is booked in with me already but hopefully this closure won’t be for long!

Long but IMPORTANT POST- please read!!

As some of you already know, unfortunately my darling partner Jez has recently been diagnosed with cancer. In true Jez style, this cancer is very rare and difficult to diagnose however, we have an official diagnosis and are ready to start chemotherapy any day now!

During this time I would love to keep my doors open to you all, however I am going to need to be flexible with my working days to allow me to support and care for Jez along side making you all feel fabulous.

One thing that I ask is that if you are unwell or have been around someone that is unwell- PLEASE contact me to reschedule your appointment!

I will also be asking all clients to wear face masks to reduce the risk of me passing anything onto him whilst his immune system is compromised. I will be providing these for you so please don’t panic if you don’t have one!

If you have an appointment booked with me and I have not contacted you, please turn up for your appointment as normal! I will contact you if I need to reschedule!

I have temporarily closed down the online booking system on Fresha so if you need to make or amend any outstanding appointments, please contact me directly via text or WhatsApp!

At this time I will not be taking on any new clients- apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but hopefully we will be back to normal in no time with Jez back to his usual self!
