It’s not personal it’s business.
I don’t think anyone understands how cancellations affect small businesses.
Being self-employed means by diary is how I get paid. Everyday this week I have had a cancellation, I always try to be understanding as I understand things happen, but when appointments are booked weeks in advance and get cancelled close to the time it can have a real impact on a small business like mine. I still have rent, I still have bills, I still have 3 young children who count on me. All this doesn’t change if appointments are cancelled. I HATE asking for deposits it’s annoying for me as much as it is for you, but if this carries on I have no other option. Please before you cancel your appointment with me bear all this in mind.
