It’s time to get carving creative for the Crown & Crossed Swords Pumpkin Competition! 🧙‍♀️✨

We’re on the hunt for the spookiest, silliest, and most fang-tastic pumpkins carved or decorated by the kids of the village (and beyond!) 🕸️💀

🧡 Simply pop your pumpkin on the wall outside the pub between Friday 24th and Sunday 26th October — they’ll make a boo-tiful display for everyone to enjoy!

🕷️ All pumpkins must be in by Sunday 26th October, voting will take place on Monday 27th October! 🏆🎃

🧾 Don’t forget to pop your full name on your pumpkin (so we know which little ghoul or goblin made it 👻).

🍽️ And here’s the treat worth carving for! 🧡
The winning pumpkin will earn its creator a voucher for a meal for two adults and up to two children under 12 in our restaurant — a frightfully good family feast! 🍴✨

📸 We’d love to see your scary, silly, and stunning creations — take photos of your pumpkins and tag us in your posts! Let’s fill Facebook with your boo-tiful designs!

✨ Pumpkin Pro Tip: Carved pumpkins usually stay fresh for about a week — so this time frame is perfect for keeping your masterpiece looking its frightful best!

What drives us……

Our family orientated cricket club is situated within the beautiful Spa Grounds. Our club is at the heart of the community, supporting four senior cricket teams and ten junior teams - encouraging men and women, boys and girls to enjoy our wonderful game.

Volunteers from our local community are the backbone of our club, they are invested in what we do and take a hands-on approach.

Our junior programme is highly regarded. We also have a fantastic team of club coaches. With a strong emphasis on making cricket enjoyable, combined with coaching and development techniques our junior teams have made huge improvements once again during 2024.

Our senior squad is currently in a strong position. In 2025 our 1st XI will compete in the premier division of the NEPL for the first time in the clubs history. In turn this has created a social and welcoming atmosphere around the club.

We hope that through advertising every club sponsor will have the opportunity to become part of the local community and will also be involved in the clubs future down at SBCC
