Hi there! My name is Carlene and I'm 34 from the sunny island of Barbados but I call North Wales my second home. I love to travel, I'm a bit of an introverted extrovert and complete softy for animals. I'm the one woman show behind Bisheen Beauty. Thank you for sharing this skincare journey with me!

The back story behind why I'm so invested into skincare and started Bisheen Beauty has a lot to do with my own skincare journey. For many years I've struggled with winter triggered eczema in my hands, feet and scalp to the point my hair would fall out in clumps. As if having dry itchy patches of skin wasn't enough! 😭😭

Expensive dermatologist visits, prescription topical steroids and ointments never really did the job or just created new problems on top the cost. I was just fed up and saddened but the whole experience year after year. I decided to try a more natural approach to try help find a better solution to keep my skin hydrated with being so harsh, stripping or greasy. And it all started my kitchen!

My mantra is "keep it simple" and I've kept that approach going with my passion for what I do and I hope to share this with others out there just like me. ❤️❤️❤️
