I’ve never really been one to believe in manifesting… but maybe I should

During my time at Miss Wales, we were given a task where we had to write things on a board things that bothered us, things we didn’t think were achievable, and things we hoped we might do in the future. Then we had to physically break through it.

Looking back at this photo now actually feels quite surreal.

Because if you look in the right hand corner of my board, I’d written:

“Own my own salon.”

At the time, it was just something I hoped I might achieve one day. I had absolutely no idea what the next few years were going to bring or whether I’d ever actually be brave enough to do it.

But two years later, I opened my very own salon. And somehow, here I am now, on my third salon. 🥹

Something I once wrote on a little board as a dream became my actual life.

I now get to walk into a salon that’s mine and spend my days doing a job I love, surrounded by clients who I genuinely adore. I’ll never take that for granted.

So if there’s something you want but part of you thinks it’s too big, too scary or simply not achievable… write it down anyway. Go for it anyway.

Because this little board is proof that sometimes the things you think are out of reach really aren’t. 🤍
