Are you familiar with the feeling of uncertainty 🤷‍♀️ and confusion, when you know you can do a lot, but can’t decide exactly what that should be? 😩

That was me for the past year. Actually, who am I kidding? It’s been like that for the past two years, I guess...

Life and transformational coaching entered my life two years ago, and I closed my lash academy 1.5 years ago.

I knew for sure that I didn’t want to teach lashes anymore, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do instead. 🥺

I gained a lot of coaching and psychological tools from my new education, which I could apply in various areas. During the training, we had a lot of practice, which gave each of us the chance to experience being a coach who helps with all kinds of issues, from relationship problems to business planning. But how do I choose exactly who my client should be?

Oh, and new fears arose, too.

😨 Would my English be good enough to talk about subjects other than lashes? That’s why I started writing posts in Russian last year, and I lost a lot of loyal followers. ☹️

😧 Would my followers accept me in the new role? That’s why I started a completely new Instagram account, without even understanding who it was for. 🤦‍♀️

😨 What new products could I offer besides private coaching services? Ohhh, sugar...

So, I ended up working with random clients, mostly in my native language. Yes, I received amazing feedback, and yes, my clients were getting results, and I loved what I was doing. But I still didn’t know who my audience was. 🤔

I’ll be even more open with you now—I can only admit this now—when my coach asked me about my lash trainers account and working with beauticians, I felt such strong resistance to returning to this beauty account. Some of the reasons, as you can see, were mentioned earlier.

And well, here I am now. It’s been 2 years since I was last here.
My intention is to be helpful, supportive, and motivational, just like I used to be for you—but now in a new role. There will be separate post for that 🤗.

CLIENT SHOUTED AT ME AND THREATENED ME

Years ago I had a client coming to me once in 2 months for a full set. She was always coming with tons of mascara on her lashes and 30 minutes before her actual appointment time, catching me with the food in my mouth all the time (my break time!).

And one day I just couldn’t to continue putting up with it 💣. I told her that I am not happy that she is always coming much earlier than the time she is booked, as I am having my lunch that time and I am also not happy her arriving with not clean lashes as it takes a lot of time to remove the makeup properly.

She didn’t expect that and started to shout at me how dare I am and all other upsetting words..

HOW TO GET CLIENTS FOR BEGINNER LASH MASTER

The biggest fear for newbies in every beauty business is where to take new clients.. There is no income without clients, and that thought makes the heart tremble with fear and brain to pulsate non-stop 😨.
I offer you to start from these simple 5 steps 💁‍♀️. If you will be determined, you will become successful businesswoman 😘. So, here we go👇🏻and don’t forget to SAVE the post 😊

1️⃣ ANNOUNCE WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN SOCIAL MEDIA

World has to know that you are accredited lash stylist now and you are taking new clients 🤗.

1. Write a post about that on your private Instagram and Fb page and ask your local friends and family members to share it.
2. Share the post to local Fb groups (check the posting rules of those groups!!)
3. Give the tasty offer for new clients (discount or loyalty cards).

2️⃣ WORD OF MOUTH

1. Tell everyone that you are offering lash extensions now - family, friends, work colleagues, some new people you met on a party )). This method is still working even in 2022 😜. Just don’t be shy! Show people you speak to how passionate you are about lashes and how professional your training was, and how excited you are to start a new career.

2. Create a lash set for few of your friends or family members and let them be your walking advertisement 🥳! Our clients are always the best advertisement of our work. People are always stopping my clients in shops, at work, in church, even at dental appointments 😀 or just in a queue to somewhere asking where have they done their lashes. 🤩
