Trying to find out interest levels for yin yoga classes for 11-17 year olds.

Unfortunately these days mental health has become a huge problem for many young people.

Yin practice and learning how to control emotions and feelings through stilling the body and mind can have a huge impact on a person's metal and emotional health creating space for a quiet mind giving anyone the ability to feel better about themselves and lives.

Can benefit greatly those young people who struggle with low moods, depression and anxiety, even disorders such as ADHD.

I myself have undiagnosed ADHD, and other mental health problems, not only has yin practice helped me get out of my wheelchair but it has helped quiet my mind, reduce depression and anxiety and helped me in so many other ways too.

Trying to find out if there is enough interest to start classes for ages 5-10, it won't just be Yin yoga as the yin aspect will be a slight integration for smaller children helping them to learn different ways of regulating themselves, this age groups classes will include game playing and yoga poses to help them socialize, have fun and learn new skills.

Following on from the news that a school banned a child with autism participating in a school trip I feel the need to write this. There are boys and girls that nobody invites to birthdays for example. There are kids who want to belong to a team but don't get selected because it is more important to win than include these children. Children with special needs are not rare or strange, they only want what everyone else wants: to be accepted !! 😡Can I ask a question?? Is there anyone willing to copy and paste this post to their wall without sharing it, like I did for a friend??
