✨ Let’s talk ingrown hairs & wax aftercare ✨

Ingrown hairs can happen when the hair curls back into the skin or becomes trapped beneath the surface. But the right aftercare can make such a difference. 🤎

Regular, gentle exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells that can block the hair follicle and helps new hairs grow through the skin more easily. However, don’t scrub freshly waxed skin straight away! Give your skin around 48 hours to calm down, then introduce gentle exfoliation a few times a week.

And your first 24–48 hours after waxing are especially important. Your skin can be more sensitive and prone to irritation, so try to avoid:

✨ Saunas & steam rooms
✨ Swimming pools & hot tubs
✨ Very hot baths/showers
✨ Intense workouts and excessive sweating
✨ Tight clothing over the freshly waxed area
✨ Scrubs, perfumes and harsh products

Keep the area clean, cool and moisturised, and avoid picking or squeezing any bumps or ingrown hairs.
