After what feels like forever, having my sister and her beautiful family home from Australia has filled our hearts in a way words can’t quite explain. Watching all the cousins back together as if no time has passed has been so special. The laughter, the chaos, the endless playing… these are the moments they’ll remember forever.
Distance may separate us, but family has a way of picking up exactly where it left off. We’re making the most of every hug, every adventure, and every precious memory while they’re here.

Last night was one of those moments that reminds me what it’s all about. ❤️
Taking my daughter and her best friend (who’s been by her side since preschool 🥹) to see December 10 was more than just a concert… it was another memory made.
Watching these girls grow from tiny little school starters into the amazing young people they’re becoming is such a privilege. Time really does fly.
Life is busy. Work is busy. There are never enough hours in the day. But no matter how crazy life gets, I will always do everything I can to make time for moments like these. The late nights, the road trips, the laughter, the singing at the top of our lungs… these are the memories that stay with us forever.

“Can you promise I won’t bruise?”
This is probably the question I’m asked more than any other…
The honest answer? No – and no ethical aesthetics practitioner should promise that.
I always use the safest techniques possible, have an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, and take every precaution to minimise the risk. But the reality is that your face contains an incredible network of blood vessels. There are thousands of tiny arteries, veins, and capillaries running just beneath the skin, many of which can’t be seen from the surface.
Even with the most experienced injector, it’s simply impossible to guarantee that a needle or cannula won’t nick one of these tiny vessels. When that happens, a bruise can develop. It doesn’t mean anything has been done wrong – it’s often just part of how our bodies are built.
In aesthetics, patient safety always comes first. That’s why extensive knowledge of facial anatomy is so important. Knowing where the major blood vessels and danger zones are helps practitioners choose the safest injection techniques and minimise risks wherever possible.
Bruising, while sometimes a little inconvenient, is usually temporary and settles over several days to a couple of weeks, depending on the individual. Some people hardly bruise at all, while others bruise very easily – every body is different.
So if I ever answer your question with, “I can’t promise you won’t bruise,” it’s not because I don’t have confidence in my skills. It’s because I value honesty, safety, and setting realistic expectations above making promises that nobody can truly keep.
