As the year comes to an end and we look forward to Christmas, I want to wish all my lovely clients a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year. This year hasn't ended great for me, with breaking my leg in October, to just getting back to work and then developing both Tennis and Golfer's elbow which meant putting a halt on my work again! Thank you all for sticking with me and being patient, you are all the best!

This is one of the many reasons why I love my job and it was the highlight of my day! The lovely Shadow thought he'd have a little lie down on my couch today and I have a sneaky feeling he was hoping for a quick massage before his human Dad had his! Although I don't treat animals, I could certainly spoil Shadow with plenty of snuggles! 😊🐶❤

One of the most common questions you get asked as a Sports Massage Therapist is "what is a knot?" So I've posted this diagram (please excuse the American spelling) for you to see in detail exactly what a knot is. By having Sports Massage Therapy, it releases the tension and toxins in the fibres and allows the blood flow back through, carrying the nutrients and oxygen that the muscles need to stay healthy. The toxins are released to continue their journey to the Lymph system and this is why it is very important to drink plenty of water after your massage.
