Part 2: The Wedding Hair Rescue 🌈✨

After hearing her story, I knew we had to make this work

Just days before her wedding, my bride was told the vivid prism hair she’d been dreaming of wasn’t possible. After waiting 6 months and putting her trust in the process, she left feeling devastated

Fast forward to now…

45 minutes of careful colour placement later and we revealed the prism hair she’d wanted all along 🌈

The best part wasn’t the transformation itself, it was hearing her say she finally felt like herself again

That’s why I love what I do. Hair isn’t just hair. It’s confidence, self-expression, and sometimes getting to walk into one of the biggest days of your life feeling exactly how you imagined

A couple of days before her wedding, this bride got the call every colour client dreads…

After booking her dream hair SIX MONTHS ago, she was told her stylist couldn’t do the colour she’d requested and her appointment was cancelled.

With only days to go before the big day, she reached out to me asking if there was any way I could help.

I was fully booked… but there was no way I was leaving a bride without her dream wedding hair.

I squeezed her into my only gap, gave her a consultation, and got straight to work creating the prism rainbow she’d always wanted ✨🌈

But did we pull it off in just 45 minutes?

9 years.

From competing in a college hair competition and proudly taking home my first trophy, to standing on a national stage accepting an award for Best Hair Business in the UK.

Sometimes I’m so busy chasing the next goal that I forget to stop and appreciate the ones I’ve already achieved.

If you’d told 18-year-old me that one day I’d be running an award winning hair business, I honestly wouldn’t have believed you.

There have been long days, setbacks, risks, moments of self doubt, and plenty of hard work in between these two clips. But there have also been incredible opportunities, amazing clients, lifelong friendships, and memories I’ll never forget.

Looking back, I’m so grateful for every person who has supported me along the way and trusted me with their hair, whether that was back when I was a student or now, and every co-worker, every person who believed in me and also the ones that didn’t, you motivated me too

I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come.

And the best part? I feel like I’m only just getting started. ❤️

POV: the naughty kids joined my styling class 😂

I was trying to teach easy styling techniques and hair hacks…

Meanwhile these two were:
• playing hand games
• attacking each other with socks
• distracting the class
• laughing through the entire demo

Somehow everyone still left with gorgeous hair, new skills and a detention for bad behaviour 💀🫶

Honestly though, this class was chaos in the best way 🖤

Flame hair on a buzzcut 🔥🎨

This one was such a fun transformation to create. My first time ever trying patterns on scalp! We started by lifting low and slow to keep the hair and scalp in the best possible condition, followed by a quick toner before moving onto the creative part ✨

Once everything was prepped, I painted in the black flame outlines first, then layered purple, deep blue and turquoise through the design to create that glowing flame effect 💙💜

Before anyone comments about some areas looking slightly sharper/lined - that’s mainly scalp staining from the vivid colours rather than the blend itself! We didn’t want to aggressively scrub colour away and irritate the scalp just for the video. After another wash, the staining will soften down and the whole design will look even smoother and more blended 👌

Creative colour work like this is literally art to me 🙏
