The way people view you.
Sometimes I think about the different characters I play in everybody’s story.

I’m a terrible person in some people's narratives and a Godsend in others.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And none of it has anything to do with the person I truly am.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The lens that others view you through is coloured by their upbringing, beliefs, and individual experiences.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people see your bright personality as endearing and others see it as annoying.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people think you’re weak and emotional and others feel safe to be themselves around you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people think you’re rude and selfish and others respect the way you stand up for yourself.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people admire the way you take pride in the way you look and others think you’re conceited.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And none of it has to do with who you truly are as a person.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What you have to understand is that you have no authority over how people view you so never try to control the way others see you because the only thing that truly matters when the dust settles down at the end of the day is what you genuinely see in yourself.

People have different driving factors that encourage them to do their jobs. Most of the time, it is their salary or other commercial benefits they get. IF YOU ARE A WOMAN WITHOUT HER MOTHER There will never be a day you don’t miss her. Never a day, where you don’t wish you could hear her voice or ask for her advice just one more time. There will never be a moment that you don’t regret all the times you screened her call, or missed a visit, simply because life was just too busy. And now you realise busy is fake, it isn’t real. She was real and she is gone. And you are alone. And the feeling of abandonment and loneliness is huge. Mind-blowing, no matter how loved or surrounded by family you may be. None of it is her. When the woman who brought you into this world is no longer here, it is a lonely place. And you are now she. You are now the one expected to guide, to discipline, to love, to handle everything, for everyone. And that is a shock. But you got this. Because she taught you well. She made you right and she made you strong and she filled you with enough love to share around, even after she was gone. So go on. And make her proud. And remember, look out for the little girl who still lives inside you somewhere, she misses her Mama very much.

Just to make everyone aware I am not ignoring you I am taking some time to process recent events. I will answer messages, phone calls and texts in the next day or two, but for now I am switching off my phone and my brain whilst trying to retain some composure. I don’t need phone calls between each other, I don’t need the police or the paramedics coming out to see me, I just need some peace and quiet, some alone time to decide my next moves. Apologies if I’m worrying anyone it’s not my intention X

As some of you may know Tim’s Dad passed away peacefully on the 2nd May. Below are the details of his funeral should anybody wish to pay their respects. If you wish to send flowers you may or even a small donation to the PDSA if preferred, either would be welcomed.
