Jara-Jali

Why Jara- Jali? For my beautiful daughters: Jade, Rachel, Jasmine & Lily. Over the years I have become increasingly aware that the skin and hair creams I had brought for my children and I contained chemicals that were doing terrible things to our skin and hair. For years I suffered with dry, itchy skin and breaking hair... My children would get sore dry skin in winter and their lips would chaff despite using lip balms and shop brought skin lotions. So I decided that I would have a go at making something a LOT better just for us. For months I researched the health benefits of different oils and studied the different benefits of aromatherapy oils. After lots of experimentation, I finally produced a super light whipped cream that suited our skin and our curly Caribbean hair. A little went a really long way as it isn't water based. It soaks into the skin leaving it soft and nourished. Our hair is shiny without being weighed down with mineral oils. Our skin glows and is fed with natural moisture. I now blend scents that lift my mood, calm my nerves and relax my body. My favourites so far are Lavender, Geranium and Lime. My youngest daughter loves Mandarin and Lavender essential oils. I've checked and both are safe for children - The oils have even helped her to get a good nights sleep! I have taken my products into work and they went down a storm. Thank you for all your support guys. I'm forever experimenting and I have just made a batch of sugar scrubs for friends and family, they were so gorgeous. My daughter Jasmine suggested they could also be used as a gentle lip exfoliater ( I think she just enjoyed eating the sugar) lol. My goal is to create a complete range of products that are completely natural with no added chemicals, additives, preservatives or other nasties. Something that feels great and is also kinder to the environment. I'm currently working on a range for the fellas- after all, we all deserve to be pampered and feel good.
